We are happy to announce The Sisterhood is hosting a youth empowerment event—Social Fly! The mission of Social Fly is to highlight the detriments of social media such as narcissism, false sense of confidence, cyber bullying, loss of empathy, loss of intimacy, overt sexuality, self-loathing, body shaming, higher suicide rate and an increase of violence due to the influence of social media. We will also strongly highlight the positive effects and multiple individuals who have flourished, encouraged and inspired others. This will be a strategic means of encouraging the youth to better utilize their social media accounts as they have the capacity to elevate themselves, educate the masses and be role models to their generation. Our young ladies can still be beautiful, creative, fun, innovative & epitome of cool without compromising their social media presence and future.
The expectation is the young ladies will leave this experience with new ideas about their personal goals ,social media dos and don'ts, anti-bullying tactics, how to build a personal resume via social media and utilizing social media as tools of empowerment. There is so much the millennials need to learn and know the goal of this event is to impart positive influence while having fun. There will be guest speakers, a special presentation, vendors, prizes, fun activities and food! It is going to be a blast!

*After monies are received and cleared an email containing the Tax Identification number will be issued to the donor/sponsor

We are in need of support/sponsorship to purchase items needed to host a successful fundraiser. History has shown the public will support an organization with an awesome cause and great presentation. Please help The Sisterhood to ensure we have the presentation required. The proceeds from this fundraiser will be utilized to host/fund the Social Fly event and the proceeds from our kickoff event will be donated to The Sisterhood to support our mission and funding future empowering events.

This is an opportunity for a group of young ladies to have fun, kick back and let loose! It’s a party on a bus! Our partners at Class Act Enterprises will be taking us all over Raleigh, NC in an amazing Party bus! There will be girl talk, games, selfies, dinner and more! This is the time for our young ladies to embrace the art of having meaningful conversation, meeting new people and having fun in a safe & stimulating environment!
The kicker is that we are asking that each participant get her ticket sponsored by a friend, family member or member of the community to signify support of The Sisterhood's Mission. Tickets are Tax Deductible as they will be a donation for a nonprofit event. When the tickets are sold out please contact The Sisterhood directly to be added to the waiting list for additional tours!
